Frisco/Silverthorne
This ride follows most of the Frisco/Dillon route, but at 15 miles and 700' of climb, it is a little longer and has a bit more elevation gain; most of which comes in six switchbacks as shown in the elevation profile and detailed interactive route map.
Follow the Frisco/Dillon route until you reach a left junction in the path near a park bench after crossing the Dillon Dam.
The path swings through a short underpass and heads downhill through the switchbacks to the Silverthorne factory stores and on to the Silverthorne Town Hall. For an extra couple of miles (and no extra elevation gain) continue on the path beyond the Town Hall, winding alongside the Blue River on some very nice boardwalks. Soon you will cross the Blue River and enter the Blue River Run condo complex, where the path temporarily ends. Turn right and follow the Blue River Run access road for about a 1/4 mile into a section of

private homes, getting back onto the path there. The path again follows the Blue River closely, passes behind the Silverthorne Elementary School and eventually ends at Route 9 at the northern end of Silverthorne at the water treatment plant.
